Accounting and Tax Services

Convina Accounting and Tax Services (CAS) is a sister company forming part of our Group. It specializes in the provision of accounting and tax compliance services to domestic companies, civil partnerships and private clients.

CAS supports local and foreign investors in maintaining proper accounting records of their domestic structures in Mauritius and ensuring ongoing tax compliance with the local tax authorities.

 Accounting and Tax Compliance

Our key accounting and tax services include the setting up of proper accounting systems, accounting policies and procedures in line with local accounting and regulatory requirements. We conduct accounting-related administrative services (e.g. sales & receipt cycle, payment cycle), provision of routine and ad-hoc routine financial reports such variance reports and KPI highlights.

We prepare cash flow projections, assist with special accounting assignments, preparation of financial statements, and payroll amongst others. We ensure that your activities are fully tax compliant with local tax regulations and we can prepare, compute and submit regular Tax, Tax deduction at source, VAT computation to the Mauritius Revenue Authority.

Payroll Services

We provide payroll, HR administration and HR compliance services to companies which size of business do not warrant the employment of a full time HR officer. Thus, our services include, inter alia, maintenance of payroll file for each employee, computation and disbursement of salary and reimbursements, PAYE tax computation and filing, CSG payment, provision of printed or electronic pay advice (via internet), processing of increments and bonuses, provision of payroll reports for management’s review monthly and annually.

On the HR front, we can handle leave administration, training administration, assistance in promotion / performance evaluation exercise and staff insurance administration. We can assist with the HR compliance requirements governed by the Mauritius Labour laws.
